In the video, the Brazilian submission artist was seen cracking a smile after the referee awarded her the catch through a clear submission attempt via a heel hook, which ultimately awarded Bastos the victory.
This successful defense of Bastos' 26-pound golden belt has hyped the fans, especially users @davidwillisjj, @kevingitz, @szkitasportegyesulet, @samichantre, @frances.rose.whelan, and @yohangely_08, who commented:

Mayssa Bastos believes that Danielle Kelly needs to win fights before challenging for the belt anew
Despite having another close encounter in their second meeting, the Art of Jiu-Jitsu representative thinks that the American star needs to earn her way back to title contention by winning a few fights.
Bastos reiterated this during his post-fight interview with the media, as she explained:
"I don't know. But I would like to fight other people first, then I think she needs to fight and climb back again to deserve to try for the belt."
The replay of the ONE Fight Night 26 card can be rewatched by North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription.
